The rocket achieved liftoff at 7:26 a.m. local time (2326GMT Thursday) from the Hainan commercial spacecraft launch facility in Wenchang, situated in the nation's southern island province of Hainan, media reported.
The mission successfully delivered its payloads—the 17th batch of low-Earth-orbit internet satellites—into their designated orbital positions, the report said.
The deployment advances China's ambitions to construct a comprehensive satellite internet network capable of rivaling systems like SpaceX's Starlink, aiming to provide global broadband connectivity from space.
